Availability Management

Overview

Our personal and professional lives are increasingly dependent on technology. Technology allows us to access information and services at speeds that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.

The pace of our lives is accelerating, and as customers we demand total availability from our technology providers. An alternative offering is often just a couple of clicks away.

At the same time, rapid technological development means equipment and services constantly need to be renewed. As service providers we face the challenge of having to upgrade with almost no margin for error, as our systems have to be available to the customer practically 24/7.

Availability Management is responsible for optimising and monitoring IT services so that they function reliably and without interruption, so as to comply with the SLAs, and all at a reasonable cost. Customer satisfaction and the profitability of the IT services depends to a large extent on its success.
