Change Management
Evaluation
Before closing the change it is necessary to carry out an evaluation. This will allow the real impact of the change on the organisation's quality of service and productivity to be assessed.
The basic points to take into account are:
- Were the envisaged objectives met?
- How far did the process deviate from the plans prepared by Change Management?
- Did the change cause any unexpected problems or interruptions to service?
- What was users' perception of the change?
- Where the back-out plans put into operation at any stage in the process? Why?
If the final evaluation finds the process and results to have been satisfactory, the RFC will be closed and all the information included in the associated PIR.
