Incident Management

Overview

The aim of Incident Management is to resolve any incidents causing an interruption of service in the quickest and most effective way possible.

Incident Management should not be confused with Problem Management, as unlike the latter, it is not concerned with finding and analysing the underlying causes of a particular incident but solely with restoring service. Nevertheless, there is obviously a strong interrelationship between them.
